~MEDITATION~
I Thessalonians 2:8-9 ESV
So, being affectionately
desirous of you, we were
ready to share with you not
only the gospel of God but
also our own selves, because
you had become very dear
to us. 9 For you remember,
brothers, our labor and toil:
we worked night and day,
that we might not be a
burden to any of you, while
we proclaimed to you the
gospel of God.

I Tesalonicenses 2:8-9 ESV
8Por
lo tanto, ser
cariñosamente deseosas de
ustedes, estuvimos listos para
compartir con ustedes no sólo
el Evangelio de Dios, sino
también nosotros mismos,
porque había vuelto muy
querido por nosotros. 9Para que
recuerde, hermanos, nuestro
trabajo y esfuerzo: hemos
trabajado día y noche, que no
seamos una carga para
cualquiera de ustedes, mientras
que proclamó a usted el
Evangelio de Dios.

J.I. Packer (1926- ) referring to
(David)Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ Preaching
(1899-1981) during an interview with
Iain Murray (1931- )
“He took more of God into the pulpit with
him than any other preacher I have ever
known”
Iain Murray (1931-
)
“Those of us who preach need to reflect on Dr.
Packer's comment, repent daily of our pride and
pray without ceasing that we take God, not
ourselves, or Chris Rock, or our mastery of street
talk or postmodernism, into the pulpit with us. A
preacher should be remembered not for the
numbers he once attracted or for his slick
engagement with the wider culture but for
whether he spoke the words of God as a man of
God.”

Ezekiel 36:26-27 (ESV)
And I will give you a new
heart, and a new spirit I will
put within you. And I will
remove the heart of stone
from your flesh and give
you a heart of flesh. 27 And I
will put my Spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my
statutes and be careful to
obey my rules.

Ezequiel 36:26-27 (NVI)
Les daré un nuevo
corazón, y les infundiré un
espíritu nuevo; les quitaré
ese corazón de piedra que
ahora tienen, y les pondré
un corazón de carne.
27 Infundiré mi Espíritu en
ustedes, y haré que sigan
mis preceptos y obedezcan
mis leyes.

Jeremiah 31:33 (ESV)
For this is the
covenant that I will
make with the house of
Israel after those days,
declares the LORD: I will
put my law within them,
and I will write it on
their hearts. And I will
be their God, and they
shall be my people.

Jeremías 31:33 (NVI)
Éste es el pacto que
después de aquel
tiempo haré con el
pueblo de Israel —
afirma el SEÑOR—:
Pondré mi ley en su
mente, y la escribiré en
su corazón. Yo seré su
Dios, y ellos serán mi
pueblo.
