A message to the users of this show from Leon Bates…
Over the years, the material in this show has been very
helpful to believers who desire a Victorious Christian Life.
Missionaries have also given feedback about how much it
helped them and those to whom they ministered.
Many churches and other Christian organizations have used
this material for Believers Bible Classes and as part of their
“follow up” for new converts. We encourage viewers of this
show to the take time to see the Scriptures in their own Bibles.
This show can be a helpful supplemental teaching to the “Projection For
Survival” Power Point Show. We’re making it available separately from
that show for your ease of use. May God bless your use of this Power
Point Show for His glory. Please share it with others off our web page.
This “Christian Walk” Power Point Show starts on page 4, just after the

Power Point
Many times when people get saved, they think
their life will be a “bed of roses” thereafter.
1ST Peter 5:8 WARNS: “Be sober, be vigilant
(be on guard); because your adversary the
devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking
whom he may devour:”
Praise the Lord, the devil CAN NOT rob you
of your salvation, but HE CAN try to mess up
your Christian walk and life.
And he has a good reason to try to do that!
BATTLES in your Christian walk and life will
not be uncommon. All Christians will face
BATTLES with the devil in their life, but God
gives protection and help for their VICTORY.
The BATTLES may be so subtle, often the
Christian may not even realize he is being
deceived and misled by the devil.
1st Peter 1:9 tells us what to do about the
devil’s fight against us… “Whom resist in the
faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brethren that are in the
BALANCE is critical in our Christian lives.
One way the devil can foul up our lives is to
get us OFF BALANCE, one way or another.
1. Bible Study. This is our spiritual FOOD.
Without this, we can not grow strong in our
Christian walk and faith.
2. Prayer. This is our intimate fellowship with
God, expressing our heart’s desires to Him.
3. Worship. God deserves our regular
worship, both privately and publicly in church.
4. Witnessing. This is like our exercise for a
healthy, balanced Christian walk and life.
The balanced Christian life is like a WHEEL.
Christ is to be the center or HUB,
with 4 spokes for support.
The devil doesn’t
care HOW we are
He just wants our focus off of Christ.
WHY does God warn us about the
devil’s attempt to fight against believers
in their Christian walk and life.
WHY does the devil “walk around like a
ROARING LION”… trying to weaken
our faith and obedience to God.
The devil wants to drag as
many unsaved people off into
Hell as possible.
One effective way is through
his BATTLES with Christians.
God has a Chain of Operation for evangelism.
God wants to save the lost.
He sent Jesus to die to pay
for their sins.
Jesus obeyed God and later
He sent the Holy Spirit to
dwell in the saved people.
God’s Word
Among other jobs, the Holy
Spirit authored the Word of
God through human writers. Lost People
And give them a right
relationship with God.
So the Holy Spirit working
through The Word can bring
them to Jesus…
The job is to get Lost People
exposed to God’s Word…
Whose job is this?
The Holy Spirit
God’s Word
All believers in all nations
are to be “Ambassadors for
Christ” (Matt. 28:18-20; 2nd
Lost People
Cor. 5:20; 1st Pet. 3:15)
Satan is the enemy of God. He wants to rob
God of the glory of saving the lost.
God Satan fought against God but Satan
was kicked out of heaven.
Fought against Christ, but Satan was
defeated at the cross & resurrection. S
Holy Spirit is more powerful. (1st John 4:4)
God’s Word is protected. (Matt. 24:35)
Satan can’t rob believers of their
salvation, so he fights their walk
Lost People to hinder or stop evangelism.
At the instant you trusted Christ
alone as your SAVIOR, you are
guaranteed Eternal Life with God
by many promises like: John
3:15,16, 36, 5:24, 10:27-29, Titus
1:2, Heb. 13:5, 1st John 5:11-13
However, you will still have CHALLENGES in
your daily life on earth between now and the
time you go to Heaven. (1st Pet. 5:8-10)
Be Aware! Satan WILL try to discourage you,
destroy your Bible study, prayer, church and
worship life and ruin your witness for Christ.
Satan wants to keep your mouth shut about
Jesus Christ, to help keep unsaved people
lost. That’s one main reason why you will
have BATTLES in your Christian walk.
has made provision
for victory in your
daily life… your
Christian Walk...
for the JOY that
Jesus gives.
This study will share
practical Biblical truths
and tips… to help you
in your daily life.
The “Battle Map – For The
Christian Walk” tract and
inside chart shows and
explains the FOUR categories
of people. Every person on
earth is one of these...
1. The NATURAL man
2. The BABY Christian
3. The VICTORIOUS Christian
4. The DEFEATED Christian
Man can not live
the Christian life
because he is
spiritually dead.
He is on the “Broad Road” to the Lake of Fire.
The “Broad Road” is GOOD WORKS people
are trusting to help earn their salvation. They
chose that road instead of the “Narrow Road”
which is faith in the shed blood (death) of
Christ alone as the only payment for their sins.
Salvation of the “Natural Man”
is a four step process, Concern,
Repentance (change of mind),
Understanding and Faith.
1. God puts the concern into
the hearts of unsaved people.
Jesus said, “No man can come
to me , except the Father
which has sent me draw him.” (John 6:44)
2. As they respond to that concern and have a
change of mind concerning God (needing God)
He continues to work in their hearts.
One surprise is that
many people who think
they are saved, are
actually stuck here.
They have been
convicted by the Holy
Spirit and they have had
a change of mind from
“I don’t need God” to “I
DO need God.”
But they have not yet
understood salvation by grace through faith.
MANY people answer what they are trusting
for their salvation like these answers…
“Living a good life”
“Good Works, good deeds”
“Church Membership”
Also Christ
B. OTHER (Be Specific) ___________________
They often answer… “Also Christ” which is a
combination of good works AND Christ.
Any combination % here CONFIRMS
they are trusting a combination of
human efforts AND Christ.
What % of YOUR trust for salvation is in:
70 B. OTHER ____
Examples: 50/50, 70/30, 100/0, etc.
Any combination % also CONFIRMS they
have not yet understood the Gospel and
God’s plan of salvation by grace alone.
3. As they hear God’s Word,
they can come to understand
God’s terms for salvation by
GRACE alone, by FAITH in
Christ alone. (Eph. 2:8, 9)
4. When they respond to God’s
Holy Spirit, they can use the
faith God gives them to trust
Christ alone for their salvation.
(Rom. 10:17; Eph. 1:13)
They are taking the “Narrow Road” of Christ
alone to their “Spiritual BIRTH” and eternal life
(John 14:6, Acts 4:12; 1st Pet. 1:23).
Here are some Facts about “Spiritual Birth”…
#1. Spiritual Birth is REQUIRED. Jesus said,
we MUST be Born Again (born spiritually) to
enter into the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3 - 7)
#2. Spiritual Birth is BY FAITH (not human
efforts). “For you are all the children of God
by faith in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:26)
#3. Once born into God’s family, we CAN NOT
BECOME UNBORN. God’s Word promises us
everlasting life, we shall not come into
condemnation and we have passed from
death unto life. (John 5:24)
Our eternal RELATIONSHIP with God
Our daily FELLOWSHIP with God
Spiritual Relationship and Fellowship with God
are much like our Physical Relationship and
Fellowship with our parents.
Relationship is established by BIRTH. There is
no way you can become “unborn” and cease
to exist. They are your parents, you are their
child. It’s a permanent Relationship.
Fellowship is established by OBEDIENCE. If
you obey, there will be benefits for your life.
Fellowship and benefits may fluctuate.
If you disobey your parents, they may take
away your car keys, take away your TV and
send you to your room without your supper.
Your Fellowship is affected, but not your
Relationship. They are still your parents, you
are still their child, obedient or disobedient.
When you decide to get right with your parents,
broken Fellowship can be restored.
Question: What is the one thing that can break
your Relationship with your parents (or God)?
Answer: NOTHING. Relationship is
permanent. Only Fellowship is affected
by our obedience or disobedience
Our eternal RELATIONSHIP with God
Our daily FELLOWSHIP with God
Our eternal
God is forever and as
guaranteed as the
promises of God who
can not lie. (John
10:27-29; Titus 1:2;
1st John 5:11-13)
Our daily
God fluctuates based
to God’s Word. (See
Col. 1:9,10; 2:6,7
3:16,17; 4;5,6;
1st John 1:3-7)
Our eternal RELATIONSHIP with God
Our daily FELLOWSHIP with God
Here, Christ becomes
Here, Christ becomes
our LORD.
We trusted Him and
committed our SOUL
to Him for our
salvation and Eternal
We are to daily trust
our BODY to Him as
our boss, our ruler…
for His best in all
aspects of our life.
Our eternal RELATIONSHIP with God
Our daily FELLOWSHIP with God
Relationship is our POSITION.
Fellowship is our WALK.
Paul wrote to the believers, “I beseech you
therefore, brethren (already saved people)…
that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1)
Question: What does it mean to be “saved?”
Answer: There are three phases of salvation:
Justification, Sanctification and Glorification.
1. Justification: When we trust Christ 100% as
our Savior, we are “Declared Righteous.”
Christ’s righteousness is “imputed” (given) to
us. His righteousness makes us perfect in
God’s eyes. That’s our “Justification.”
For He (God) has made Him (Christ) to be sin
for us, who knew no sin (Christ); that we might
be made the righteousness of God in Him.
(2nd Cor. 5:21)
God took all our sins (past, present & future)
and placed them on Christ on the cross. He
died to pay sin’s death penalty FOR US.
When we trust Christ
100% as our Savior, God
credits us with the very
righteousness of Christ.
This gets us to Heaven.
JUSTIFICATION is our salvation from the
PENALTY of sin. This is the past tense phase
of our salvation. When we trusted Christ
100%, we were saved from Hell and promised
Eternal Life in Heaven with God.
This is our Relationship (position) with God.
Our sins are forgiven, past, present and future.
Our position is perfect in Christ and we have
been sealed by the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 1:13,14)
2. Sanctification:
Salvation from the
POWER of sin.
This is the present tense phase of salvation,
where God progressively cleans up our lives.
Sanctification means “set apart for God.” We
are in the world, but not to be corrupted by the
world, not isolated but insulated. (John 17:15)
How are we, the church, the body of believers,
to be insulated, cleansed, set apart?
By obedience to God’s Word.
Jesus prayed for the disciples (and us):
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth.” (John 17:17)
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ
also loved the church, and gave Himself for it;
That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word. (Eph. 5:25, 26)
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises: (God’s Word) that by
these you might be partakers of the divine
nature… (2nd Peter 1:4)
Here is a major tip for success in our Christian
walk… “As you received Christ Jesus the
Lord, so walk you in Him.” (Col. 2:6)
What is in common about how we received
Him and how we are to walk in Him? (Discuss)
We received Him by appropriating God’s
promises by faith concerning our salvation
from the Penalty of Sin. Example: John 3:16
We are to walk in Him by appropriating God’s
promises by faith concerning our salvation
from the Power of Sin. Examples: James 4:7;
1st Peter 5:8-10
Here’s another tip for our victorious walk…
Most of God’s promises are “conditional
promises.” Just like a contract, we must meet
the terms before we can claim the promise.
Example of a Contract : To purchase new car:
Terms: 60 monthly $300 payments.
Promise: Clear Title.
Meet the terms and claim the promise!
Example of God’s Promises : James 4:7
Terms: (2) A. Submit yourself to God. B. Resist
the devil. Promise: He will flee from you.
Meet the terms and claim the promise!
Example (True Story): James 4:7 was shown to
a Christian lady who wanted to quit smoking.
Terms: A. Submit yourself to God. Ask God
in prayer to help you. B. Resist the devil.
Get cigarettes out of your life, car and home.
Later the Christian lady was asked about her
problem. She said, “God gave me the victory.
I did as James 4:7 said. A. I asked God in
prayer to help me. B. I threw away the
cigarettes in my house and car. I even threw
away a purse because it smelled like tobacco.”
Meet the terms and claim the promise!
3. Glorification: Salvation
from the PRESENCE of
sin. Future tense, never to
be exposed to sin again.
Glorification is promised
to the saved. (Rom. 8:30)
When will this happen?
When we get our new Glorified body at
the RAPTURE. (1st Thes. 4:15-17)
Our new body will be incorruptible
and there will be no sin in Heaven.
(1st Cor. 15:51, 52; Rev. 21:23-27)
Question: What does it mean to be “saved?”
Answer: We have been saved (Justified) from
the Penalty of sin,
We are being saved (Sanctified, set apart)
from the Power of sin,
We will be saved (Glorified) from the Presence
of sin, never to be exposed to sin again.
We who have been Justified (past tense)
Are guaranteed Glorification (future tense).
We may or may not have much Sanctification
in our Christian walk (present tense).
We are “saints”
(our position)
But are we always “saintly”
(obedient in our walk)?
Much of the New Testament (Romans through
Jude) is to believers about our Fellowship (our
walk, our progressive Sanctification, our
salvation from the Power of Sin).
We need to always look at the context & see
which phase of salvation the verse refers to.
Context: Who is it talking to and what is it
talking about? Relationship or Fellowship?
Context: Does the verse apply to our
Justification, Sanctification or Glorification?
Many who don’t determine that, often get
confused and misapply Scriptures.
Example: See 1st John 1:9. This is sometimes
shown to lost people for salvation. Is this a
correct Scripture to use for unsaved people?
Context: It’s to saved people. See 1st John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you,
that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have
an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous. (1st John 2:1)
“These things” (the previous verses) are written
to “my little children” saved people… about sin
in their walk (Fellowship, not Relationship)
How do we know 1st John 1:9 is about our
Fellowship rather than our Relationship?
Look at the previous verses, 1st John 1:3-7.
Fellowship, fellowship, fellowship, fellowship…
It’s used FOUR times in these verses.
Some passages talk about Relationship AND
Fellowship. Example, see Eph. 2:8-10. Vs. 8,9
are Relationship. Vs. 10 is Fellowship (walk).
Some verses talk about ALL three phases of
our salvation. See 2nd Cor. 1:9,10. (KJV) He
delivered (past tense), doth deliver (present
tense) and He will yet deliver (future tense) us
from the sentence of death.
It’s normal for
new Christians
to start their
Christian WALK
(Fellowship) as
immature, but
it’s not normal
to stay there.
They must learn how to walk
in Christ by reading, studying
and obeying the Bible.
Maximum JOY comes as
they grow from spiritual
immaturity towards Christ
likeness. This is God’s goal
for all believers.
WHY should we CHOOSE to obey Christ
and seek to live Victorious Christian lives?
1. We should choose to obey Christ because
of His love for us.
And He died for all that they which live should
not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto
Him which died for them, and rose again.
(2nd Cor. 5:15)
He loved us enough to die for us. Wouldn’t
it be the least we can do (in gratitude), to
live for Him, that is live for His glory?
2. We should choose to obey Christ to please
the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Eph. 4:30 says: And grieve not the Holy Spirit
of God, whereby you are sealed until the day
of redemption.
3. We should choose to obey Christ because
His commands are for our good.
Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I
might not sin against thee. (Psa. 119:11)
His commands help protect us from the
dangers and consequences of sin.
4. We should choose to obey Christ because
sin is very destructive. It often leaves scars.
The damage may be:
A. Emotional (guilt, shame and fear)
B. Mental (memory flash backs)
C. Physical (illness and pain, loss of property
or even loss of life) and
D. Spiritual (damage to our testimony and
grieving the Holy Spirit of God within us.)
Even after a Christian’s sin is forgiven by God,
Satan may use the memory of sins to try to
discourage the believer in their faith and walk.
5. We should choose to obey Christ because
God has highly exalted Christ above every
name. (Phil. 2:7-9) Since God has exalted
Christ, is Christ not worthy of our obedience?
Every knee will eventually bow before Christ
and confess that He IS LORD. (Phil. 2:10,11)
Eventually, why not now?
Millions in Heaven will proclaim, “Worthy is the
Lamb that was slain…” (Rev. 4:10,11; 5:11,12)
Eventually, why not now?
Defeated Christian
Victorious Christians have trusted Christ as
Savior AND LORD. They’re learning & claiming
God’s promises for victory over sin and Satan.
Defeated Christians have trusted Christ as their
Savior but they’re NOT trusting Him as LORD.
They are carnal, slaves to sinful desires and
habits, they lack real joy and will be ashamed
when they meet Christ. (1st John 2:28)
Paul told some saved people (brethren, babes
in Christ) they were carnal (1st Cor. 3:1-4)
Defeated Christian
A Delayed Dedication and Walk with God could
salvage some wasted time and spiritual growth
potential… but what a shame for the waste.
When Christians are asked why they delayed
trusting Christ as their LORD (boss, ruler) most
reply they did not understand about the Bible’s
teaching of the Victorious Christian Walk.
Here’s a tip for success… What
to do when a Christian sins…
Let’s take a look at what this
guy just went through…
He’s living the walk,
then let’s say he
loses his temper
and falls into the
pit of rebellion.
Now, he has a choice. He can continue to
REBEL or… he can get right with God.
Let’s say he chooses to REBEL and
tries to justify his sin. He may say “I
had a right to lose my temper, he
stepped on my foot!”
In rebellion, his fellowship &
walk with God is affected.
Eventually (the sooner the better), he swallows
his pride and rebellion and decides to obey
God’s terms for forgiveness…
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness. (1st John 1:9)
To “confess” our sins to God means we agree
with God about sins He convicts us of, THEN
BELIEVE God’s promise in 1st John 1:9.
This is the process whereby we learn to hate
ANY sin as much as God does. Over time, God
progressively cleans us up, from the inside out.
Immediately upon our confession
of that sin to God…
we should believe His promise and
experience His forgiveness!
Our fellowship and walk
with God is resumed.
Positionally, in our Relationship with God, born
again believers are totally forgiven and totally
righteous in God’s sight through Christ.
But we don’t experience that forgiveness
to it’s fullness without agreeing with God
regarding sin and sins He reveals to us
as we journey through life.
If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we
have fellowship one with the another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ His Son (continually)
cleanses us from all sin. (1st John 1:7)
The light of God’s Word illuminates
our life and walk and reveals sin to us.
The blood of Christ has cleansed us
for our Relationship to God. We should
also want the daily cleansing His blood
provides for our Fellowship with God.
As His light makes us aware of sin, we should
admit that to God. Then thank Him and believe
that He has already forgiven us. His love for us
should motivate our gratitude and obedience
by His power in us… to please Him in our
Father to child Relationship and Fellowship.
WARNING: While God does forgive confessed
sin in believer’s lives, He will not tolerate ongoing deliberate rebellion, sin and hypocrisy.
As a good father, God promises chastisement
for correction in our lives… “that we might be
partakers of His holiness.” (Hebrews 12:3-15)
God does not punish Christians, He corrects
us for our good and for His glory.
He convicts us of our sins. If we choose to
rebel, He speaks louder… with correction
until we confess the sin to Him, restoring our
fellowship and corrected Christian walk.
Punishment Vs. Chastisement
Non-believers His children
God’s Wrath
God’s Love
Avenge Wrong Correct Wrong
Righteous Lifestyle
Unsaved people would be wise to AVOID
God’s Eternal Punishment in Hell… by trusting
Christ as their SAVIOR before it’s too late!
Saved people would be wise to AVOID God’s
Discipline (chastisement) by trusting and
obeying Christ daily… as their LORD.
Christians will not be
judged at the final
Great White Throne
Judgment described
in Rev. 20:11-15.
That will be the judgment of the UNSAVED
people of all ages resurrected then and there.
They will ALL be found GUILTY
and separated from God forever
in the Lake of Fire (HELL).
(Rev. 20:15)
Christians will be judged at
the Judgment Seat of Christ.
It will NOT be for salvation.
If they are not saved, they
will not even be there.
Seat of Christ
It’s believed this event will be in Heaven, after
the Rapture, sometime while the 7 Year
Tribulation Judgments are occurring on Earth.
Seat of Christ
To the believers, God’s Word
says… For we shall all stand
Judgment Seat
before the Judgment Seat of
of Christ
Christ. As I live, says the Lord,
every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God. So
then every one of us shall give account of
himself to God. (Rom. 14:10-12)
For we must all appear before the Judgment
Seat of Christ; that every one may receive
the things done in his body, according to that
he has done, whether it be good or bad. (2nd
Cor. 5:10)
Every man’s work shall be
made manifest: for the day shall
declare it, because it shall be
revealed by fire: and the fire
shall try every man’s work of
what sort it is. (1st Cor. 3:13)
Judgment Seat
of Christ
Our Christian lives and motives will be
revealed. Will the motives for our Christian life
and service be for God’s glory alone? The fire
of God’s judgment will test our Christian life
and work and reveal “what sort it was.”
In any man’s work abide
which he has built thereupon
Judgment Seat
of Christ
(the foundation of Christ), he
shall received a reward.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall
suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet
so as by fire. (1st Cor. 3:14, 15)
Note: There will be rewards given and for
others, loss of rewards, but no loss of salvation.
All Christians should live daily in light of this
coming event when we will stand before Christ
and give account of our life since our salvation.
In addition to the Judgment Seat of Christ,
there are 2 other events to happen after the
Rapture, to do with “The BRIDE of Christ.”
Seat of Christ
The Bride of Christ…
Tribulation Judgments on
The Bride
of Christ
The Bride is the Church, the world
wide body of believers, called out
and set apart for God’s glory.
It’s every person saved during this age we are
now living in.
The Bride The Bride of Christ, the church, is
of Christ
not any denomination, not any
religion. It is every BORN-AGAIN
PERSON… world-wide.
When Scofield Bible Church in Dallas burned
down a few years ago, a newsman interviewed
Pastor Ashcraft, “How do you feel about this
historic church burning?” He replied, “The
church did not burn, only the building burned.”
A lady said, “Pastor, Pastor, come quick, the
children are chewing gum in the sanctuary.”
He said, “Lady, the children are the sanctuary.”
The Bride
of Christ
In whom you also trusted, after that
you heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation: In whom
also after that you believed, you
were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, (US),
unto the praise of His glory. (Eph. 1:13, 14)
Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit
at our salvation… unto the redemption
of the purchased possession. WHEN
will that redemption be? At the Rapture.
The Bride Matt. 5:14 You are the light of the
of Christ
world. A city that is set on a hill
cannot be hid.
Matt. 5:16 Let your light so shine
before men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father
which is in heaven.
Our relationship and fellowship with Christ
should allow His light to shine through us
everyday (not just on Sunday) everywhere we
go… to everyone we meet.
The Bride Matt. 28:19,20 GO ye therefore,
of Christ and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:
Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you:
and lo, I am with you always, even
unto the end of the world.
Christ’s command for the Bride, the Church, is
to GO. We are to TAKE the Gospel to the lost.
And He promised to be with those
who obey His GO command.
The Bride Phil. 2:14 -16 Do all things without
murmurings and disputings: That ye
of Christ
the midst of a crooked and
perverse nation, among whom ye
shine as lights in the world; Holding
forth the word of life…
2nd Cor. 5:18-20 teaches us that the WE, the
bride (church) have been given the ministry
(job) and word (tool) of reconciliation. We are
Ambassadors for Christ, as though God is
making his appeal (to the lost) through us.
The Bride
of Christ
from the
Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept
the word of my patience, I also will
keep thee from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon
all the world, to try them that dwell
upon the earth.
“keep” The Greek word is ek =
“out of” not dia = “through”
From the “hour” the very “TIME” of
the judgment, the coming 7 year
Tribulation Judgment which will come
upon all them dwelling on the earth.
The Bride Rev. 2 and 3 contain letters to the
early churches. Then John wrote:
of Christ
Rev. 4:1 After this I looked, and,
behold a door was opened in
heaven; and the first voice which I
heard was as it were a trumpet talking to me;
which said, Come up hither, and I will show
thee things which must be hereafter.
The church is not mentioned again until Rev.
19:7,8. WHY NOT?
Because the church was Raptured
before the Tribulation Judgments.
Two other events after the Rapture are when
the bride (church) is united with the bride groom
(Christ) and the Marriage Supper will follow.
Seat of Christ
Marriage of the Lamb and
Marriage Supper in Heaven
Tribulation Judgments on
Seat of Christ
Marriage of the Lamb
Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Rev. 19: 7,8 Let us be glad and rejoice, and
give honor to Him: for the marriage of the
Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself
ready. And to her was granted that she should
be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev. 19:9 And He said unto me, Write,
Blessed are they which are called unto the
marriage supper of the Lamb…
The Bride Questions for your consideration:
of Christ
1. Are you a member of the church (not just a
local church, but the true church, the body of
believers in Christ), the future Bride of Christ?
Evangelist D.L. Moody said, “Walking into a
church won’t make you a Christian any more
than walking into a garage will make you an
Are you as sure as you’d like to be, that you are
saved? If you’re not, you can make sure NOW
by trusting Christ 100% for your salvation.
The Bride
of Christ
If you are a member of the future
Bride of Christ, how is your light?
Do people you know and meet see the light of
Christ shining through you… Mon., Tue.,
Wed., Thur., Fri., Sat., as well as on Sunday?
What are you doing as your part of carrying
out the command to all of us believers, to GO
and TAKE the Gospel to the world?
How will you feel about your response to this
when you meet Christ, your future bride groom,
at the Marriage and the Marriage Supper?
The Bride
of Christ
Marriage of the Lamb
Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Are you looking forward to the Marriage of the
Lamb, when you will meet your bride groom,
the Lord Jesus Christ, and be united with Him?
Can you imagine the GLORY of these
unique events… the Marriage of the
Lamb and the Marriage Supper, when all
the believers of all ages from all over the
world will be united together with their
bride groom, the Lord Jesus Christ?
Which represents your present life?
1. NATURAL (unsaved, trusting good works)
2. BABY (saved, but spiritually immature)
3. VICTORIOUS (saved, growing, fruitful)
4. DEFEATED (saved, but not victorious)
If you are experiencing or WANT the
“Victorious Christian Life”…
the primary KEY is… our
to God’s Word.
Here are some items for our obedience…
After our salvation we should be baptized as
an outward testimony that we are trusting
Christ alone for our salvation and that we are
not ashamed to be publicly identified with Him
as our Savior. Baptism by immersion is a
picture that we have been buried with Christ
and raised to walk in the newness of His life.
Christ gave a clear command about this, “Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matt. 28:19)
Here’s another MAJOR help for our Victorious
Christian walk and life…
Find and join a good Bible teaching church
that teaches salvation by grace alone…
through faith alone… in Christ alone. Regular
Bible study, worship and fellowship with that
body of believers can be one of the BIGGEST
KEYS for success in your Victorious walk
God’s Word reveals this wisdom to believers…
“…Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together.” (Heb. 10:25)
Many churches and Bible classes
use the material on the BACK of the
“Battle Map for The Christian Walk”
for Bible Studies. Here are some of
the subjects for study…
What are Satan’s maneuvers
against us?
How does Satan try to brainwash us?
What are God’s “Victory Promises?”
What are God’s “Combat Instructions?”
As you study and apply
God’s Word to your life, you
will become more and more
controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Desires, motives, morals, language, attitudes,
actions and habits will become more Christ like.
Christ as your Savior and Lord will bring more
and more JOY and meaning to your life.
The greatest JOY will be as you “walk the talk”
and see God use YOU to help other people
believe on (trust) the death (shed blood) of
Christ as the total payment for their salvation.
An even greater JOY will be when you meet
Jesus Christ… in person… and hear…
“Well done thou
good and
faithful servant.”
If you are saved, do you realize YOU are
What? Know you not that your body is the
temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which
you have of God, and you are not your own?
For you are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,
which are God’s. (1st Cor. 6:19, 20)
You are God’s REDEEMED child… bloodbought back from the slave market of sin.
YOU are very precious to God.
If you are saved, do you realize YOU are God’s
YOU are one of His CHOSEN, His bloodbought ROYALTY and HOLY unto Him.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people (people for His possession); that
you should show forth the praises of Him
who has called you out of darkness into
His marvelous light. (1st Peter 2:9)
As God’s Chosen,
Prized, Purchased
Royalty and Holy
unto Him…
May God bless you so
much, you will be
overcome with joy,
praise, worship and
obedience to Him, as
your heavenly Father.
End of this show… but not the end of
your understanding and Bible study for
your on-going Victory in…
The following pages have additional information in
small fonts (not for projection) but just for the
presenters, teachers or viewers to read.
We hope this show helps
you and others better
understand God’s Word
and appreciate His
wonderful love and grace.
It’s well known that we
understand and
remember up to 70%
more when we hear
teaching and SEE
VISUALS along with it.
The visuals in these materials have helped thousands of people in many
languages since 1970.
Much of the basic visual material used in this presentation is in the tracts
shown above, the “Bible Map – God’s Plan of the Ages,” the “Tribulation
Map” (with the Rapture Picture in it), “Battle Map for the Christian Walk”
and the “Eternity Map.” (They are Pre - Millennial, Pre -Tribulation
Rapture, Salvation by Grace and use KJV Scriptures.)
In addition to English, we also have some of these printed materials
available from our ministry offices in Spanish and Russian.
You are very welcome to use this Power Point
Show without the printed materials.
However, you may want to get some of these tracts for use in your
classes along with your teaching. If so, they could help your viewers in
their further Bible study, to share the Gospel with others and to bring
more people to your classes. You can see more about them and our
other Bible teaching charts and get a FREE “Sample Pack” which
includes a sample of these tracts, at: http://www.bbea.org
In addition to our web page, you can usually reach one of our ministry
staff members at our Texas office… Mondays and Wednesdays… 10
am to 3 pm (CST)… (toll free) at 1-888-624-5366.
If you do choose to get some of our printed materials, it’s best to order
them at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance of your classes so we can get
them to you in time for your advanced preparation and use.
Please also note that we can only ship
our materials to addresses in the U.S.A.
I am working on “STUDY SUPPLEMENTS” for BOTH Power
Point Shows, “Projection For Survival” & “The Christian Walk.”
These contain additional material, Scriptures, questions and
answers to aid teachers.
When finished, the “Study Supplements” will not be added to
the CD’s but they will be on our web page for FREE download
worldwide as Adobe PDF documents. Nearly everyone can
easily and quickly download, save and print PDF documents. If
you don’t have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer,
you can and should get and install it FREE from:
Check back on our web page from time to time to see if the
“STUDY SUPPLEMENTS” or other new materials are there.
Final note from Leon Bates…
Thank you for being our ministry
partners for the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
We hope you enjoy using these free Power Point
Shows and the other materials. We’d enjoy
hearing from you and sharing how you are using
the shows and materials, or ask any questions.
