• In addition to direct abuse disclosures, in 1,221 calls it
was reported that children were present in the home
where domestic violence took place.
• 261 women disclosed to the Women’s Aid Helpline that
their abuser was using access visits to continue the
domestic violence against her.
• On 68 occasions women disclosed that their children
were being physically, emotionally and sexually abused
during unsupervised access visits with their fathers.
