Definitions:
Vision statement identifies how we want to be viewed.
Mission statement is a description of what we do.
Objectives are broad goals/statements of what the department
would like to achieve. These include student educational
objectives, faculty objectives and other department objectives.
Student Learning Outcomes are specific skills that the students
will possess at the end of the degree program. These Learning
Outcomes are described to meet the student educational
objectives.
Measures are detailed metrics that indicate whether a specific
Learning Outcome has been achieved.
