Today, Carla’s family gives (is
giving) a party for Luis’s birthday.
Sus amigos le traen muchos
regalos.
His friends bring him lots of
presents.
En la noche, nosotros salimos a
cenar (eat dinner) en un
restaurante.
At night, we’re going out to eat
dinner in a restaurant.
Andrés viene a la fiesta también.
Andrés is coming to the party, too.
Yo pongo unas bonitas
decoraciónes en el jardín.
I put some pretty decorations in
the garden.
Nosotros decimos “¡Feliz
cumpleaños, Luis!”
We say, “Happy birthday, Luis!”
Yo doy una fiesta.
I give (I’m giving) a party.
Jaime y yo traemos los regalos.
Jaime and I are bringing the gifts.
Marcos dice, “¿A qué hora es la
fiesta de sorpresa?”
Marcos says, “What time is the
surprise party at?”
Carmen y Marcos ponen la mesa.
Marcos and Carmen set the table.
Mi tía pasa la aspiradora después
de la fiesta.
My aunt vacuums after the party.
