We want to write about your work. Brochures, newsletters and research briefs are some of our tools for reaching out to: • Students, faculty, administrators. • Scientists, other researchers. • Governments. • The news media. To reach the widest audience, we have to be online. We want to post your stories on our website. To do so, we need your help. Everybody likes success stories. We want to hear all the details: •What was the problem? •What did your research find? •What did you learn? Please tell us more … • How did the situation change? • Who benefited? • What did your actions achieve? Don’t just tell us – show us. People enjoy looking at photos, especially photos of other people … … especially children. But not too many people! Yes. No. What will be interesting to the reader? Zoom in on the details. No! Yes. Actions speak louder than words. Send a story, a photo, or just an idea. Is this workshop worth posting on the website? Make me smile! If each of you sends me just one idea, then I will be as happy as this woman.
